I picked up an interesting read at Macawber’s book store before he closed for business, THE KITCHEN BOY, by Robert Alexander, is spell binding from many directions. While it is fiction, there is a lot of historical fact embedded throughout. It continues my focus on International reading, as it is set in Russia during the Russian Revolution and the over throw of Zsar Nicholas. Finally, it tells a ghastly tale of wealth, power, class, politics, and murder.
